FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
are you able to film for only part of our wedding day (I.E just the ceremony)?
Unfortunately, I only offer full-day wedding packages.
can we meet before making any commitments?
Absolutely. You should feel comfortable with the person who is shooting your wedding day. Your videographer will be with you from first thing in the morning until your guests go home. For this reason, I always suggest we meet for an informal chat before any commitments are made.
we have something special we want to be included in our film. can you make sure it’s there?
Of course! When we meet, make sure you tell me of any special moments you would like caught on camera. Some examples I have filmed in the past include first-looks between father and bride, the ceremonial lighting of a candle for a lost family member, or the groom and ushers bonding in the morning.
DO YOU USE DRONES?
Unfortunately, I am currently unable to provide drone footage for your wedding film, event or commercial project. However, I have worked with wonderful drone pilots in the past to add arial footage to wedding films. If you are interested in drone work, get in touch and I can point you in the right direction.
do you take photographs as well?
Unfortunately not, I only offer filming services. If you are looking for a great photographer, please get in touch and I’ll recommend some fabulous photographers on the island.
can we have footage of the ceremony and speeches?
Yes. I will film and supply footage of both the full ceremony and the speeches. These files will be included on your USB stick, however will be separate from your main video. Your final wedding film is my main priority of the day. I am a solo shooter so please understand that the footage of the speeches and ceremony will likely not be of the same production value as the main wedding film.
can we have all of the raw footage?
Although I understand that this is something you may want, it is something I do not offer. There is a lot of work that goes into creating a beautiful wedding film — including a lot of not-so-beautiful shots. It’s all part of the filming process and I will be sure to only supply you with the best footage of the day.
how will you supply our wedding film?
Your wedding film will be supplied on a hand-carved, wooden USB stick in an Evergreen Films display box. You will also have a personalised card describing what is on your USB stick. I can also transfer you file if you would like a digital copy. Check out the images below.
Are you expecting to be fed at our wedding?
I would appreciate some food on the day. It is a very long day filming and I typically try to eat when you do (no one needs video footage of themselves eating - amirite?!). I do not need to sit with your guests, somewhere out of the way would be preferable.
